Triton Research Involvement Initiative (TRII) is an organization at UCSD that seeks to provide students in community college—particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds—with increased resources to engage in social science research. Our organization offers a peer mentorship program in addition to speaker events. Overall, our primary aim is to address the underrepresentation of minority groups within higher academic institutions.
